well. i fucking love music. that should be a given, it's plastered all over the site. it's the only thing that can truly calm my nerves and i can connect deeply with, despite having absolutely zero musical knowledge or experience. kind of like how one could love rhythm games but can remain absolutely shit at them. whenever i listen to a song (particularly one by GOATBED) i have this mega weird impulse to decompose all of its layers, but i have nothing to do with those layers because of my lack in experience. i used to play piano but all i remember is how to match keys to melodies, which is basically nothing. might try to fuck around with a DAW once i'm more free, though i don't know what learning how to compose music will do for me when i've been rooted in visual art for almost the entirety of my life. i think i'll just stick to making my shitty teto covers, nothing original. anyways -- my favourite artist at the moment is most definitely GOATBED. their songs just soothe me in a way like no other type of music can. i'm not too into vkei though, i'm a casual fan of JILUKA and vkei characters in music projects (namely hypmic's Jyushi and show by rock's Shuu (god, i loved amatelast so much)) but that's about it. i listen to quite literally anything. please send me any general song recommendations if you have any, i love exchanging playlists more than ever.
and yes, i did get into GOATBED through DRAMAtical Murder. i'm glad. i mainly play visual novels at the moment but i'm an RPGMaker fan at heart. OMORI, Hello Charlotte and END ROLL shaped me. also, i guess osu! took good part in shaping my music taste in the first place. i'm a huge fan of j-core and VOCALOID music, with Camellia, Seeeeecun and FLAVOR FOLEY being my current favourite artists of these genres. outside of them i also like nelward, ISSBROKIE/shteppi, QUEEF JERKY & Dev Lemons, Phantom Siita and as i said before, just anything, really.
i may tend to bitch a lot on my blog but i'm generally chill and try to stick to my word. my blog's currently my only outlet, hence why there are so many miserable and personal entries right now. just a general warning to anyone concerned with me, a lot of my confusing behaviours and unprompted ignorance are influenced by my (suspectedly chronic) illness which makes me very hormonal and frail, it flares up regularly so i'm trying my best to take care.
